Concept study “Surplus heat in Lower Saxony”

Process heat accounts for around 57% of the total energy consumption in commercial and industrial areas. Frequently, much of this previously costly energy is lost as surplus heat. The study presents a conceptual approach that estimates the commercial and industrial surplus heat potential in Lower Saxony and analyses the potentials of regional distribution of waste heat.
